Nourished by the Sacraments, Sacred Scripture and Holy Traditions, we are called to love, forgive and be merciful.

In the Beginning…
Holy Redeemer Parish had its inception on April 3, 1975 with the appointment of Fr. Norman Droski as its first pastor. This was quickly followed by the purchase of approximately nine acres as a building site. The new parish celebrated its first Mass in the Jenison High School auditorium on April 20, 1975, and continued to worship there for three years until the initial part of the church building was completed in 1978. Learn more about the ongoing progress and building additions under “Our Shepherds” below.
From January 2025 through December 2025, our community will be celebrating 50 years of Holy Redeemer Parish!
Our official anniversary is on April 3rd when parishioners gathered for Mass which took place at a local school. Our current building was built in 1978 and has many expansions and updates since then.
Bishop Walkowiak will be presiding during the 11:00am Mass on March 2, 2025 with a special Gala following in the Activity Center. More details to come!
The wonderful leaders of our Pastoral Council are leading the planning efforts for the 50th Anniversary year-long celebration. As with all big events, we will need lot of help from both the young and old. Send an email to [email protected] to see how you can help us make this a golden celebration! Congratulations to Ryan Levandoski for creating the winning logo.
At the beginning of 2024, you may have read in the bulletin that a committee began gathering information and stories from our founding pastor and founding parishioners. This is being compiled into a book. Please keep the committee in your prayers as they work towards this goal of recording an important piece of our past.
Visit this page often as it will be updated with event information and all the happenings for our 50th Anniversary celebration.
