May through September this ministry gives one the opportunity to reach out to those living on the street. In a “picnic setting” volunteers will socialize and serve grilled hot dogs and ice cream cones to the homeless of downtown Grand Rapids. this event takes place every other Thursday 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in Heartside Park located on Ionia Avenue. Beginning May 11, 2017.
Join us on Thursday this spring and summer through September! Join us every other Wednesday to cook and Thursday nights to serve the meal to our neighbors at Heartside Park in GR. We meet in the Holy Redeemer parking lot to carpool at 4:00pm, or meet us at the park at 5:00pm. Don’t forget to bring your hat! (Health Department regulations)
