Pastoral

The Pastoral Council is a visioning body. Through prayer and consensus the Council shares its wisdom and insight with the Pastor in visioning and planning for the parish.

The Pastoral Council strives to identify the needs of the parish, studies and reflects upon those needs, makes recommendation as to how those needs can be met and evaluates the resulting efforts made by staff and volunteers to address the identified needs. Members serve a three-year term, and they may serve two successive terms. The council meets on a quarterly basis and on an as-needed basis given the necessity of certain projects. Qualifications include being actively involved in the life of the parish community. Any training will occur at an appointed time.
