This ministry will foster the continued growth of our twinning relationship with our sister parish, Mission San Miguel (sam miˈɣel) in Oaxaca (wah-HAH-kah,), Mexico. There is the opportunity to visit the villages to understand the culture of the indigenous people. Each member of this ministry is expected to promote, educate and broaden the view of our parish community and its understanding of the universal church. There will be specific projects that we will undertake as this relationship evolves. Photos below are from our initial visit in September of 2023.
